Documentary Analysis: Care Foundation

The Care Foundation:

This Documentary is based on the schools and initiative taken by the care foundation. It came into being in the late 1980’s when the managing trustee discovered ,during the floods there are children who have nothing to do all day but follow her. So she decided that the best gift she could actually give them was education. So the Care schools were established.

The documentary focuses on showing the managing trustee , students, parents and alumni of the Care foundation , who share their experience and learning outcomes.This is mainly an interactive and observational documentary, which explores during the various shots and interviews taken as to how everyone has the same perspective and respect for the foundation . It includes interviews which provide the perspective of how the students aspire to become successful in the future, and alumni who are already benefiting from the school.

The documentary highlights the children and how there school life is similar to those in expensive schools , even the parents are satisfied and show gratitude to the school while talking in the interview for providing them with a fair chance. It shows a variety of shots covering the school, the classrooms as well as the children. Overall the documentary is mild paced and there is an instrumental music playing in the background, going along with the stories coming from the principal, and students.
